Welcome

Autumn has always been my favourite time of year, I've always loved that back-to-school feeling that September brings, the idea of fresh beginnings, feeling renewed after a summer break; we can begin again with a clean slate, it feels like anything is possible. Harvest, pumpkins and squash, fields of sunflowers. Conkers, acorns and crispy leaves underfoot. Knee-high boots and woolly tights. Gingham table cloths, apple and blackberry crumble. Gingerbread and cinnamon sprinkled

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but Autumn is my favourite time of year. My school days are long over, but I still get that back-to-school feeling every September. After months of relaxed dressing suited to the heat and a busy family summer, when the calendar turns over,I look forward to dressing that little bit smarter. The nice thing about early Autumn is that the weather is neither too hot or too cold so you can dress for style, not just coping with the element

I love skincare and beauty. The ritual of cleaning my skin, applying moisturiser. I love how accessible it can be. Yes you could spend silly money if you wanted too; and believe me if I had that kind of money, i would. However even if you only have a couple of pounds disposable income, this will buy you an entry-level red lipstick that will make you smile. I bring you my top ten budget beauty buys.
