I little Bit about Olive&Alma

I began blogging nearly 13 years ago. I had recently got moved into my first home, got married, and had a baby in the space of a year and didn't know where to start creating a home. This was 10 years before the term tradwife ever existed; and if that's the content you're into, I'm afraid you've come to the wrong place. Each to their own; but never will I ever get up at 5 am to start the sourdough, or pack a grown man's lunchbox. There is no aspiration here. No judgement and no promise that an app or subscription will sort your life out in 3 weeks.s.  Like you, some days I feel the house is a mess, the children have had hours of screen time, and the odd sock bag ( is this just me)  could qualify for it's own postcode. What I can do is share what i have learned from nearly 15 years of keeping a home while raising 3 children, various jobs- employed, self-employed, in-office, and home working, loosing then rediscovering my creativity in my late 30s. There are no routines to follow here; if, like me, your to- do list is never finished, i have no wish to add to it. The message of the blog is simply that there are many little ways to elevate your everyday, and if you'd let me, I'd love to share some with you. xxx
